Late Work
● The student has five school days to submit missing/late work.
● The work is considered late/missing once the teacher marks “M” in Infinite Campus.
● Points cannot be deducted for late work.
Reassessment
● Teachers are responsible for communicating reassessment procedures clearly to students and parents.
○ It is the student’s responsibility to schedule the reassessment.
○ The student must either attend a tutoring session or complete an assignment before being reassessed.
● One reassessment opportunity will be provided per summative assessment (not including semester exams).
● Reassessment opportunities will only include standards not mastered.
● Reassessments should be completed prior to the next summative assessment (60% category).
● The maximum grade for a reassessment is 90.
● Reassessments will not result in a lower grade than the original grade.
MTSS/IEP/504/R* Students
● Students who fall under the above may have special considerations regarding late work and reassessments.
○ Adhere to 504/IEP accommodations
○ Implement MTSS interventions regarding missing/late work and reassessment
● Teachers will provide plans for reassessment and evidence of implementation
○ Remediation resources include: Progress Learning, AP Classroom, ALEKS, Delta Math, HMH resources, SkillsUSA, Common Lit, ACE Case resources, etc.
○ Instructional Strategies for Remediation include: Small group, error analysis, daily warm ups, videos, tutoring, etc.
○ Communication of plans: students, parent contact, administration, counselors, case managers, Instructional Specialists, coaches/sponsors
Make Up Days -
● All ninth grade *R* classes will have a scheduled make up day every other week
