MS. AVRET
Welcome!
Hello, my name is Ms. Avret and I teach ELA at Evans High School. I have always had a passion for reading and hope that (even if only a little) I can make all of my students enjoy some aspect of reading as well. I graduated from Harlem High School, my Undergraduate Degree is a double major in English and Education, and my Master's Degree is in Education and Instruction. This will be my 9th year teaching English Literature in high school. I believe that any student can be a great reader and writer if they come in with a POSITIVE attitude and a willingness to learn! Always be willing to try new things - even if they seem scary at first - have the open mind to try out books that do not look like your thing and engage. I bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the classroom, and I hope that you bring yours ~
