I am excited to begin my 19th year being an educator. I am native of Columbia County and attended Brookwood Elementary myself as a child, so I am thrilled to be a Brookwood Bronco once again! I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Augusta State University in 2006, my Master's Degree from Cambridge College in Boston in 2011, and my Educational Specialist Degree from Augusta State University in 2021. 

My family includes my husband, Adam, and our sons Grayson (18) and Noah (11). We also adopted a puppy named Max who turned one in June. Together, we enjoy traveling and having family game nights. My hobbies also include reading and gardening. 

Teaching has always been a meaningful part of my life. It is more than a profession; it is a calling! I find great joy in helping students grow and succeed. I value lifelong learning, both in the classroom and in my own professional journey. I am always looking for new ways to improve my craft, fuel my passion for teaching, and be an inspiration to my students.
