Welcome! My name is James Smith, and I teach 7th grade World Studies. This is my sixth year at Greenbrier Middle, but I have taught 4th through 8th grades over my 28 year career. I earned my bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University and my master's degree from Southern Wesleyan University. My wife, Nikki, is also a graduate of Georgia Southern and an RN. We have a son, Jacob, who is a computer science graduate of Georgia Southern, and a daughter, Carson, who is currently getting her doctorate at Emory.
