All actions will be documented in Educator’s Handbook.
Positive Consequences
PBIS points will be given to students who observe our 3R’s listed above. Students will be able to use these points in the PBIS store to buy rewards

GRADING
Assessments: Summatives, Tests, Projects, Essays = 55%
Assignments: Formatives, Quizzes, Daily Work = 40%
Benchmark: 1st 9 Weeks, 2nd 9 Weeks, 3rd 9 Weeks = 5%
At the end of each term you will also receive a report card. Between report cards and report cards, please check student progress in Infinite Campus.
Google Classroom
RESPONSIBILITY AND PREPARATION
★Come to class prepared with your binder, planner, notebooks, writing utensils, and supplies DAILY
★ Start working on your bell ringer immediately so class can begin within five minutes of the bell
★ Work should be turned in on its due date
★ Follow instructions and be respectful of property, peers, and teachers!

Absences
YES, WE DID SOMETHING IMPORTANT WHILE YOU WERE ABSENT. It is the student’s responsibility to make up work. Check Google Classroom daily. You can print copies of assignments. Check with Mrs. Mincolla upon returning to school. You can always email, message in Google Classroom, or send a ParentSquare message to the teacher for missed work. It is YOUR responsibility to see your teachers and retake tests/quizzes within five days of your absence.
Late/Incomplete Work
Do NOT wait until the night before an assignment is due to complete it.
PLEASE TURN IN ALL WORK ON TIME.
Alternative assignments will be given to students who choose to turn work in late.
Request to Re-Test
Students may request to retake TESTS ONCE only by discussing the retake with Mrs. Mincolla. Students must provide evidence of learning to be eligible (i.e. made flash cards, wrote sentences with the words, etc). Students may only retake tests within the current grading period. Highest possible grade on the retake is a 90, per district policy.
Tutoring
Ask if you need help! I am glad to help you, but won’t know you need it if you do not say something. You may also schedule a time or day to come after school and stay late for additional help. You must ask at least 2 days before you need to stay after as I am not available every day.
Hall Changes and Passes
Students will have a short period of time in between classes. You must be on time or it will result in a tardy to class. Hall passes will be written out at teacher discretion for restroom breaks or trips to other parts of the school building during class. Restrooms will be used as a class and NOT during class.
Technology
Per state law & CCBOE Policy, cellphones and other electronic devices (i.e. smart watches, ipads, META glasses etc) are NOT allowed in class. Please silence/turn off your phone and keep all electronics in your backpack during class.
Electronics & Headphones MUST be put away in book bags at ALL times. They should not be on the desk, in your hands during transitions, or on your person, etc. Wired headphones ONLY for use with iReady.
Failure to use technology RESPONSIBLY and APPROPRIATELY will result in disciplinary action.
Please DO NOT text your child during the school day. If you need to speak with them, please call the front office.
