Meet the Teacher!
About me
My name is Ivy Hoyle and I teach 5th grade Math and Science. I have previously taught at Martinez Elementary as a fifth grade teacher, a kindergarten teacher, and a paraprofessional. I am so excited to "Take Off" this year with all of you and am even more excited to see if I have a few familiar names on my roster!
I have received a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a Specialist in Advanced Educational Curriculum Degree, both from Augusta University. Additionally I hold endorsements in both ESOL and Dyslexia.
My husband Doug and I on a cruise this summer.
About my family
I have been married for 30 years to Doug. We have lived all over the world with the military, and we continue to travel whenever we get a chance. We have two children,Michelle and Jolie. I also have two dogs and a cat at home.

Michelle is 30 and just separated from the Air Force and starting her academic career. She is currently moving to New York with her dog Charlie and her cat Mira.

Jolie is 24 and works as the Environmental Education Coordinator for Okeefenokee Swamp Park. She graduated from Georgia Southern and is a wildlife biologist. She is currently working on her Masters in Biology from Miami of Ohio University. She lives in Waycross, Ga with her boyfriend Jake and dog Roxie.

These are my furbabies. Noel is MY baby (she is the white pittie with the heart shaped nose), Harley is my husbands baby (she is the black poodle), Roxie is my daughters but lives with us, and Murica is my kitty.
