About Mrs. Fletcher!

Hello everyone! My name is Madison Fletcher, and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at Grovetown Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching in Columbia County, and my first year at Grovetown Elementary. I spent the last four years teaching 3rd grade at Euchee Creek Elementary. I graduated in May 2022 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), with highest honors. I also have a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences, so I love working with and learning about children and their families! I graduated in May 2026 with my Master's in Instruction from Augusta University. I will be earning my ESOL endorsement this school year. 

I am originally from a small town in Middle Georgia, Monticello, GA, which is about 2 hours from Augusta. I recently moved from Augusta to Harlem this summer. I also got married to my high school sweetheart in June! We have a black cat named Bruce. In my free time, I enjoy building Legos, reading, and spending time with my family.

I am super excited to teach 2nd grade at GTE this year! This will be the best year yet!
