This year (2022-2023) I will be teaching 9th grade literature, 10th grade Literature ,12th grade British Literature, and Mythology.

A little bit about me:

I graduated from Butler High School and received my Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Advertising from The University of Georgia. I have been teaching for 18 years. I have two sons... a 19 year old, Brody, who is a recent grad of GTHS and attending Augusta University and a 15 year old, Beckett, who will be a 10th grader this year! I have a bulldog named Georgia (real original, I know lol) and one Betta fish (used to be two...we won't speak of that). Oh, and a husband...he is a paramedic and we have been married for 23 years!

Communication is important, especially with virtual learning. I expect students to use Google Classroom to keep up with assignments and assessments. This is extremely important and should be checked daily. Google Classroom codes are on the page for your particular grade/class.

My Schedule:
9th grade: Live meets Tuesdays & Fridays 9:45am-10:15am
10th grade Literature: Live meets Tuesdays & Fridays 8:35am - 9:05am
12th grade Literature: Live meets Mondays & Thursdays 9:45am-10:15am
Mythology: Live meets Mondays & Thursdays 10:20am-10:50am
OFFICE HOURS: Monday - Friday 1:15pm - 1:45pm
