I was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia where I graduated from John S. Davidson Magnet School. After High School I attended Paine College and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Psychology. I received a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Special Education from Augusta University and an Educational Specialist Degree from Cambridge College in Curriculum and Instruction. I currently reside in Evans, Georgia with my lovely family.  My husband of 24 years and my two beautiful daughters ages twenty- one and fourteen make up the epitome structure of my family. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, mentoring with my girls, and exposing them to new and exciting experiences.

With much experience and hard work, I have been an educator for over 22 years.  I am currently employed as an Inter-related Special Education teacher and Grovetown's 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. Education is a passion of mine. My motto is: “To reach every child in some way that is memorable.”
