Meet your teacher - Mrs. Toni Walton
I am excited for another great school year! This is my first-year teaching at North Harlem Elementary. I have been teaching for 9 years. I am a proud graduate of Georgia Southern University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013. I also attended Walden University, where I received my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy in 2016. I am currently in school for my Specialist degree and will complete the program in May. My passion is teaching and I truly enjoy seeing how much students grow from the beginning to the end of the school year.
In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, traveling, sewing, and spending time with my husband, John and our children, Tre and Joy.
I will be teaching Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. I will be team teaching with Mrs. Kate Ellis who will teach Math and Science. (kate.ellis@ccboe.net)
