Meet the Teacher

My name is Marsha Anderson.  I am one of eight 2nd grade teachers here at Baker Place Elementary. I have been in the teaching profession for 20 + years.  I have worked in both 2nd and 3rd grades, and I also have some experience in Kindergarten. I am honored to have the pleasure to work with students day in and day out learning lots of new and exciting things.  My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to succeed and become life long learners.  I believe that all students can be successful, and encourage students to put forth their best efforts in all that they do.  

I love spending time with my family.  I am happily married with three loving children, and two fur babies.  During my time away from school I enjoy working in my yards, and around the house.  I love going on new adventures with my family.  Let's not forget, I can't pass up a good Georgia Bulldog football game.

I am looking forward to yet another wonderfully exciting year.  I can't wait to see what the future has in store for our class this year.  I look forward to working with all the great families that I have been blessed with in the coming year.
