Classroom Assessments- 45 %

Summative assignments will consist of Labs, Projects, Group Assignments, and Tests. Students will be allowed to re-assess on summative assignments throughout the school year after they complete additional review sessions (During connection classes) or turn in any needed re-assessment work. I will post both grades in Infinite Campus for parents and students to see, but the grade that will be posted will be the higher of the two. 

Classroom Assignments- 40 %

Formative assignments will consist of homework assignments, quizzes, Google Formatives, classroom participation, and any class assignments that are picked up and graded. These assignments cannot be reassessed. 

Benchmark Assessments- 15 %

Throughout the year, students will take three 9 weeks benchmarks. These are state/county assessments reviewing all material taught in the given 9 weeks. Each assessment will score as 5 % towards student final grades.  Benchmark 1 reviews units 1 & 2. Benchmark 2 reviews units 3 & 4. Benchmark 3 reviews units 5 & 6.
