I'm originally from New Iberia, Louisiana. We are famous for Tabasco sauce and the best food on the planet. I attended LSU for both my Bachelors in Literature and Rhetoric, Writing, & Culture and also my Masters in Teaching. 

I have taught 10th & 11th grade English and Creative Writing 1-3 for the past 8 years at McLean High School in Northern Virginia, just outside of DC. 

I'm so excited to be back in the south and closer to home. I'm so looking forward to a great school year at EHS!

I will be cosponsoring the National English Honors Society club this year and am hoping to bring on a new Literary Magazine publication to our school, which I have done at my previous school for 7 years. If you have any interest in these activities, please don't hesitate to ask me!
