I am a Colombian-American Spanish teacher. This is my 14th year teaching. It is my 7th year at Evans High School. My husband and I both graduated from EHS. My sister is also a Spanish teacher here at Evans. I studied Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Salamanca, Spain. The University of Salamanca is one of the oldest universities in Europe, it celebrated its 800th Anniversary in 2018. I had my first child, Emilia in November of 2023. I love to travel to the beach with my husband and daughter. I have completed 2 half-marathons, and several 5ks. I am one of the Advisors for Student Council. I enjoy teaching students not only my language but culture as well. I am very proud of my heritage and try to share the joys of the Latino culture with all my students. I look forward to having a great year!
