Hello! My name is Mrs. Bowen

I absolutely love children and teaching. I am thrilled to meet you and your family.  This year will be full of fun, learning, and new adventures for the both of us. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. 

To start off with, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself both personally and professionally. I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I have always wanted to be a teacher; influenced by my mother who has been a teacher for 33 years. I graduated from Augusta University with my Bachelor's Degree and earned my Master's Degree from Georgia Southern University. I am currently working on my Specialist Degree from Augusta. I played volleyball throughout college in OKlahaoma and AU. I have lived in Georgia since 2012 and because I love it so much, my husband and I bought a house in 2020.  I recently got married in December of last year. 

I currently do not have any children, but I do have two miniture dachshunds who are 2 years old.  Daisy (left) is sneaky and fiesty while Ellie (right) loves all the snuggles. When I am not making lesson plans or grading papers, I love to watch movies, sleep and be crafty. I spend a lot of time of Pinterest!

In order for us to have a great year I believe communication is vital, so I will always be available through email and Remind. I will arrive at school by 7:45am each day and leave around 4:20pm.
