Hi parents and guardians!

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! You will find my email below. This will be the best way to contact me.  I check my e-mail multiple times throughout the day and try my best to respond as quickly as possible. However, please keep in mind that we are busy learning and if you need to speak to someone immediately, please contact the front office at 706-556-4000. This is the best way to make sure important information, such as transportation changes, get to me as soon as possible.

This year at ECE we will also be using Remind for communication with our parents. Please go ahead and download the app to your phone.

Please make sure to check this website weekly for reminders, important dates and school/classroom information.

Parent Information: Start Here! This is where you will find our classroom wishlist, back to school survey, student supply list, and how to contact me! 

Specials Schedule: We have two different groups for specials. Please make sure if your student is in F group, you are looking at the correct one! These are updated monthly. 

Newsletter: This is our monthly first-grade newsletter. You will find important information here about what we are doing in the classroom that month, our Engineers of the Month, reminders from your teachers, and more! 

Module Letter: This is where you will find the parent module letter for each module we will be doing in reading. We typically do one module every 3 weeks, however, sometimes breaks and holidays interfere with that. There will be dates so that you can make sure you are looking at the correct one. Please look over these and practice our weekly words with students at home whenever you are reading or have any free time. Exposure to these words helps our students a lot!
