About me

My name is Avery Kitchens. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Augusta University in May 2022 and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2025 from Augusta University. I am local to the area, I graduated from Greenbrier High School in 2018. This will be my fourth year teaching at Brookwood. I completed my student teaching with Ms. Allison's fourth grade class in the 2022 spring semester. I am so excited to be back working with a great fourth grade team again! Being around my parents both working in the Columbia County school system, I have been passed down a passion for teaching students. ❤️ When I am not teaching however, I love to watch football with my family (Go dawgs/Rise up!), hang out with my cats, or see the world. 😊
