Aloha! My name is Lyn Carter and I've been married to my husband, Chris for 26 years. We have three sons (Xavier-28, Ty- 23, and Chase-20).  We have 2 dogs, Maui and Elvis. I was raised in Hawai'i and attended the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and majored in Journalism. The U.S. Army moved my family and I to Georgia in 2005 and we now call Georgia home.  I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Augusta State University. This is my 15th year teaching. I enjoy crafting, traveling, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with my family. I LOVE teaching and learning! I've been a mom longer than I've been a teacher and have vowed to be the teacher I wanted my own children to have. I'm looking forward to an amazing school year with my new students!
