The school, LHS NAHS, and/or the county have the right to paint over and revoke future painting privileges for individuals who do not use the correct materials or paint inappropriate messages. Families/renters who use the incorrect paint or paint an inappropriate message will also be charged a $50 restoration fee.
More Painting Tips
Pencil out your design idea before painting.
Please bring the appropriate tools for painting and clean-up of the area around the rock, including a drop cloth, cardboard box, or newspaper to place around the rock when painting.
Please be mindful of the landscaping, sidewalk and border around the rock.
Start with a base coat. It may be easiest to use a small roller and paint tray. Depending on the current rock color, you may need two coats. Outdoor/weather-proof acrylic paint works best and dries pretty quickly.
ALLOW TIME FOR YOUR COVER COAT (covering the previous design) TO DRY BEFORE PAINTING ON YOUR DESIGN.
Please take all of your supplies and trash with you!
