Welcome to Second Grade

Heidi Little

My name is Heidi Little. I graduated from Aiken High School and the College of Charleston. I’ve been teaching for 24 years and have taught many grades, but second grade is my favorite. I’ve spent 13 years in second grade at Lewiston. I love shopping, cooking, dining out, and spending time with my friends and family. I am looking forward to an exciting year in second grade!

My name is Jenifer Hughes. I graduated from Cardinal O’Hara high School and Augusta State University. I began teaching in 2009 and have taught first, second, fourth, and fifth grades. However, this is my eleventh year as a second grade teacher, which I love! When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me reading a book, binging a show, petting my doggies, or shopping- mostly for groceries.

My name is Chanelle DuBose and this is my third year at Lewiston. I received a Masters in Education from Capella University. I am currently working on my doctorate in Reading and Literacy. I have been teaching for 11 years and love what I do. I am a wife and mother of 4. In my free time, I enjoy watching lifetime or hallmark movies, crafting and spending time with my family. I am excited about this school year, getting to know my students and watching them grow this year. 

My name is Jessica Weber.  I'm a graduate of Georgia Southern University and I also completed my graduate studies at Augusta State University.  I've been teaching since 2010.  Since then, I've had the opportunity to teach first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and second grade.  Teaching second grade is so much fun! I grew up in Roswell, Georgia and relocated to Augusta in 2010 with my husband, Tracy.  We have two children, Ava and Hannah.  I enjoy reading a new book, shopping, or playing tennis in my free time.  Our family loves to go on walks together, golf cart rides through our neighborhood, swim, play at the park, and visit the beach.  I'm looking forward to meeting you and having a great year in second grade!

My name is Lindsey Yelton. I am so excited about this school year! This is my 4th year teaching second grade. I'm a graduate of Augusta University and I am currently working on my Specialist degree at AU. I am married and I have three little dogs. I love spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, and trying new restaurants. I am looking forward to a great year in second grade!
