NEWS FLASH:

• We have some MAJOR curriculum changes this school year!

In Reading will be using both "Into Reading" and "Reading Mastery" as our curriculums. We will be using the "Into Reading" writing component to help our readers become writers too!

In Math we are moving to iReady!! It's an exciting new program that uses whole group, small group, differentiated lessons, and technology. The program creates individual pathways for EACH student. This allows us to both support and challenge all of students every day in VERY PURPOSEFUL ways.

In Science we will continue to explore with StemScopes.

In Social Studies will continue to investigate history with our magical newspapers and Studies Weekly program.

We will be having our Specials Enrichment classes everyday. Students will experience Music, Art, PE, and Reading Enrichment.

With our Morning Meetings, we are working on Social Skills and identifying needs for interventions. We have a lot of fun planned this first quarter.
