About the Teacher

Dr. Owen has been teaching for 23 years. In 2022, he earned his Doctor of Education degree from Baylor University in Texas. 

Dr. Owen is married to his lovely wife, Amy, and they are currently celebrating their 25th anniversary! They met while both attending Harlem Middle School and they went on to graduate from Harlem High School. Dr. Owen is glad to be back as a teacher in Columbia County. 

Dr. and Mrs. Owen have five grown kids who are all currently in college (Augusta University and USC-Aiken). 

The Owen family also has a yellow lab named Buster.
