Welcome to the official site of the Lakeside Literary Team. 

Literary is a GHSA-sanctioned fine arts and academic event that produces state champions in each classification.

 The Literary Competition events include the following: 

• Literary Interpretation: Solo Dramatic, Solo Humorous, & Duo (Dramatic or Humorous)

• Essay: Personal, Argumentative, & Literary Analysis

• Extemporaneous Speaking: Domestic & International

• Music Events: Boys' Solo, Girls' Solo, Trio, & Quartet

This year's Region Competition will be on March 7, 2026 at Statesboro High School.  Those who advance to State will need to be available to compete on March 14, 2026 at Buford High School.
