My love of sports started at the young tender age of 5 where my passion for the game of softball began. My dad, who pitched (fastpitch) in the Army taught me the fundamentals of the game and taught me to pitch. I spent my first 10 years as the catcher. In high school I was moved to short stop. I received a college scholarship to play softball where I pitched, played short stop, and second base. From there I graduated with my degree in Education where I got my first Varsity head coaching position at Harlem High School. I was there for 5 years then moved to Dublin, GA where I coached and was an Athletic Director for 18 years. There I spent time coaching Basketball, Softball, & Track & Field. During this time I also obtained my Master's Degree. Throughout my life I have participated in Swimming, Basketball, Track & Field, and of course Softball. It is my goal to instill a love for sports and a passion for the game through learning great fundamentals and amazing sportsmanship. Let's let this be the best year yet!! Go Knights!
