Please note that Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Google Drive are different things (but all are mandatory):

• • • Google Classroom is the platform we are running our classroom on. Think of it AS our classroom. This is where lectures/notes/assignments are posted and turned in.

    • Google Meet is the app used to video chat with students and parents for conferences/instruction. Times and links will be set up by Coach Kenny in advance and will be posted in Google Classroom (or via email for parents)

    • Google Drive is the app to store and create basic documents. All files saved in Google Drive can automatically be uploaded directly into Google Classroom. With your student accounts, Google Drive also gives you unlimited storage space.

It is MANDATORY that all students join the correct Google Classroom (REMEMBER, you MUST use your @student.ccboe.net account to join!). Please see specific class period for the codes. If you have ANY trouble logging in, email me immediately.

CLASS NORMS AND CLASS AGREEMENTS FOR GOOGLE MEET:

• • Always be respectful

  • Remove personal items you don’t want seen in the room

  • Have proper lighting

  • Use the hand-raise button for questions or use the chat option

  • Stay on mute until you are ready to "chime-in" or are called on

  • Please be mindful of the noise in your background as it will cause feedback on the video session

  • Remember that other people can see you, so be mindful of your physical gestures, body language, and dress code when attending a Google Meet session.
