Hello, my name is Rebecca Thompson.  I am originally from the Augusta area, but I grew up in Sierra Vista, Arizona.  My family moved back to Evans my freshman year of high school, where I attended Evans High School and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1989.  I hold a Bachelors of Arts in Education, and a Masters Degree  in Education from Augusta University. DOUBLE JAG!!

I currently live in Evans with my husband, Chris, and my daughters, Lauren and Maggie.  We have 2 basset hounds Otis and Stella, 1 cat Milo, and 12 chickens.

​This is my 31st year of teaching. My 8th year teaching in Columbia County Schools at Harlem Middle School.  I taught 23 years in Richmond County at Tutt Middle School and Hephzibah Middle School.  

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, playing pickle ball, kayaking, painting, sewing, embroidery, and traveling.
