**Important notes regarding athletic participation for the 2024-2025 season:

• Fully completed HMS Athletic Packet must be turned in before you are allowed to tryout. Visit Athletic Forms for the packet.

  • All athletes must have health insurance to participate. If you do not have health insurance for your athlete, visit Athletic Forms for an option you can consider to purchase insurance for your child.

• After tryouts are complete and you've made the team, please feel free to join our Player Memberships and/or Booster Club! For more info, visit Player Memberships

• Approximate Start Dates for Seasons this school year:

  • Football - July 15th

  • Softball - August 6th

  • Tennis - September 16th

  • Basketball - October 21st (girls) and October 23rd (boys)

  • Baseball - January 13th

  • Soccer - January 13th

  • Track & Field - January 21st

"The GHSA and its member schools have made a commitment to promote good sportsmanship by student/athletes, coaches, and spectators at all GHSA sanctioned events. Profanity, degrading remarks, and intimidating actions directed at officials or competitors will not be tolerated, and are grounds for removal from the event site. Spectators are not allowed to enter the competition area during warm-ups or while the contest is being conducted. Thank you for your cooperation in the promotion of good sportsmanship at today's event."
