Athletic Trainer

Coach Robert Leslie, ATC

Robert is Harlem High Schools’ Athletic Trainer. He works for Champion Orthopedics and has been assigned full-time to HHS for the past 3 years. However, this will be Robert’s 24th season associated with HHS athletics. Robert is from Indiana and graduated from Indiana State University in 1994.

His duties include, overseeing the entire athletic department’s medical program, which includes injury evaluation, rehabilitation, first aid, referrals for physician appointments, yearly physicals, and maintaining our injury/treatment database to ensure our athletes receive the best care available. In addition to being our full-time athletic trainer, Robert also is beginning his 4rd year as our Girls’ Basketball Coach. He has previously coached basketball at Curtis Baptist for 10 years.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys playing golf and relaxing at the beach with his family. Robert has a wife, Tricia, who is also an athletic trainer with Champion Orthopedics, and a daughter Madison who is a freshman at HHS and plays volleyball.
