Welcome to Art!

Communication is going to be incredibly important this year! Step one: Sign up for the Google Classroom. Complete the contact form in Google Classroom.

Grading:

  • 30% - Formative - critiques (in-progress and summative), sketchbook assignments, etc.

  • 70% - Summative - art assignments

Class Schedule

1st Period: ART 2-4, AP

2nd Period: PLANNING

3rd Period: ART 2-4, AP

4th Period: Art 1

5th Period: ART 2-4, AP

6th Period: Ceramics 1-2

7th Period: Ceramics 1-2

Supply List:

  • #2 Pencils (Enough to last the entire year)

  • Erasers

  • Pencil sharpener (preferably one that catches shavings)

  • Brush set (Required for Art 2-4 and AP, recommended for Art 1)

  • Sharpies (Fine point and Ultra Fine Point, Art 1-4 and AP Only)

  • Large Ziploc bag or pouch to hold supplies

  • Personal Apron (Optional)

  • Mixed Media Sketchbook

Due to health and safety standards, we are trying to minimize the use of shared supplies as much as possible in the art room.


Most of your supplies are available at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, Staples, Office Depot and Walmart. Michael's and Hobby Lobby offer mobile coupons (40% off one item). If you have any questions about supplies, please email me! I'd be happy to help!


You will have a space to put all your items. Please label your bag and all of your supplies.
