FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid

Do not pay to complete a financial aid application

Before beginning the FAFSA application, have the following available for quick reference:

• Social Security Number
• Alien Registration Number (if not a U.S. Citizen)
• Your most recent federal income tax returns - you may be able to tranfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retreival Tool).
• Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
• Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
• If you a dependent student, you will need the above information for you and your parents
