About 

I look forward to chatting with each of you and getting to know you better, as we create art together. Here is a little more about me-

Background: I spent my earliest years creating and knowing from age 5 that I wanted to be a teacher. After growing up in a large family in Marietta, Ga, I graduated from the University of West Georgia. In addition to teaching private Art lessons for 14 years, this is my 16th year of teaching in public schools.  I'm passionate about showing students how to create Art that they are proud of. What a rewarding job to have! 

About My Family: My husband, Chris, and I just celebrated 26 years of marriage. Chris is also an artist. He is the owner/creative director of Kru & Land of Thee. We have three children who are in college! Our daughter is Annalise, and our sons are Gentry & Campbell. All of our children are graduates of Greenbrier High School. We love being a part of the Wolfpack Family!

Favorites: My friends often call me the crazy cat lady. Our cats are Jinx, Jett, and Peter

Fav pastimes: reading, being active outdoors, watching UGA football, scripture memory, painting, concerts, comedy

Fav colors: black, bahama blue, poodleskirt pink

Fav place: NC mountains, 30A (and Italy as of Summer 2025!)
