Hello, and welcome to Dr. Grant's 2024-25 Film Studies site. Each of the films we view will have its own subpage with reviews and clips that are relevant in some way or other. Below, you'll find this year's Google Classroom code, as well as developing information about the course. Be sure to check back as the year goes on for resources, notes, and whatnot.
Quarter 1
This quarter, we will cover the origins of film, some relevant terminology, early innovations and movements in film, and begin analyzing some early 20th century films that respond to history. We will also take on a few projects that establish the groundwork for creating films.
