Meet the Teacher

This year     

This is my 22 year in education.  Currently I'm the Intervention Specialist at GTMS.  I have taught 5th through 8th grade, ELA, SS, and math.  I am excited to finish out the school year in 6th grade ELA.  ELA is near and dear to my heart.  We have a lot of exciting things that we will be doing the remainder of the year.  I look forward to finishing out the school year strong. 

About Me

I am married to Matt Wilson and we have two boys, and a poodle named Bree.  My oldest son is a graduate of  The Citadel and currently serving as a Captain  in the United States Air Force.  His wife is a graduate of the USC-Aiken and currently working as a Pulmonary Rehab Specialist.  They live in Anchorage, Alaska.   They have three cats Moni, Cleo, and Gus.   My youngest son is is currently in his freshman year in at Aiken Technical College working on a degree in Radiation Protection and Control.  I graduated from USC-Aiken with my Bachelor's Degree, Columbia College with my Master's Degree, and Augusta State University with my Educational Specialist Degree.
