Hello! My name is Dr. Natalie Thigpen and I am SO excited to be your child's teacher! This is my 16th year teaching and my 9th year here at Parkway. I have previously taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades, but 2nd grade is my favorite! I am also an adjunct faculty member of Augusta University, teaching classes in the doctorate, specialist, and masters programs there.

I have a doctorate in Educational Innovation from AU, as well as an education specialist degree in Curriculum & Instruction, a masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction, and a bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I also have certifications in gifted education and educational leadership.

I live in Evans with my husband Thomas, my 13 year old bonus son Tucker, my 5 year old son Max,  my 3 old daughter Mabel, and our chiweenie Greta. I love to spend time with my family, travel,  read, listen to music, shop, and decorate both my home and the classroom! I have a serious coffee addiction and a love for all things Target and Amazon.
