Hello! My name is Mrs. D'Anjou. This will be my fifteenth year teaching and my seventh year teaching in Columbia County. I've lived in various placing due to my husband's military affiliation. On my journey, I've taught many different subjects and career exploration classes, but English has always been my sweet spot. My experiences and talents extend to theatre as well as fiction writing. I absolutely love young adult fiction which is why I began my adventure as a young adult author back in 2015. I've written four YA novel with my most recent publications being Invisible and The Window-Special Edition

If you haven't realized, reading and writing are at the top of my list of favorite things. Throughout this school year, I hope to help you develop a greater appreciation for reading, literature, grammar and the art of writing. We will read from many different genres this year. We will also compose pieces of writing you can be proud of. Be prepared to explore, discuss/debate, and grow in confidence. I am in great anticipation of the adventure that awaits us! If we all put forth the appropriate effort, this will be a school year of growth and one to remember.
