Hi,

I am beyond excited to be your child’s teacher this year. My name is Stephanie Curtis and this is my 1st year at Euchee Creek  Elementary and my 34th year teaching.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Lander University and I earned my Master’s Degree from Augusta State University.  In addition, I received my Gifted and Talented Endorsement from the University of South Carolina.

I live with my husband and our dog in Aiken, SC. My oldest recently moved to Colorado and my youngest son just graduated from college and is working at Walt Disney World.

Our school theme this year is “Shining Brightly.” My goal is for all students in our class to “shine” by reaching their full potential both socially and academically.

Students need to bring a water bottle, please don’t send giant ones. We will have a monthly snack calendar, the link will be sent through Parent Square next week. I will provide snacks for the first week of school. Our class is in need of the following items and any donations would be greatly appreciated: paper towels, disinfecting wipes, ziplock bags, individually wrapped snacks and bottled water.

Students will have reading and math homework every school night except Friday. Please check communication folders daily for homework assignments and important information. Our primary way of communication will be through Parent Square and student communication folders.

We are going to have an amazing year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at stephanie.curtis@ccboe.net.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Curtis
