A Little Bit About Me

My name is Amy Sasser and I am the Instructional Specialist at Cedar Ridge Elementary. In addition to being the Instructional Specialist, I am also the Title I Parent Engagement Coordinator. I was honored to serve as Cedar Ridge Elementary's 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year. This is my 13th year as an educator. I earned a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008, a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2010, and a Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning in 2010, all from Augusta State University. It is my goal to bring evidence-based practices into classrooms by working closely with teachers and administrators to ensure the success of our students.
