Students - log in through Classlink and go to the Google folder to log into Google Classroom.
Engineering and Technology
Welcome to EMS Technology and Engineering class. In our classroom we use STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in order to facilitate problem solving and create hands-on learning environments. I am excited for your student to be part of my classroom and hope that they will enjoy learning about Engineering and Technology.
The courses prepare students for more effective living in a growing industrial and highly technological society. The laboratory ‘hands-on’ approach in technology education provides experiences for students to assist them in discovering and developing aptitudes and interests in technology. All courses provide integrated activity in STEM.
Middle School Technology and Engineering Education classes provide an active learning situations which allows students to explore technology and engineering. Students will be working in groups and independently while they are exploring different technologies, learning the problem solving process, and becoming technologically literate. The assignments in this course are designed to integrate math, science and technology.
Supplies for class: Students are not required to bring anything to class. If they would like they can bring in their own 3mm plug in headphones to use on the computers.
Donations are always optional but appreciated. Tissues, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes/cleaner for keyboards and mice, and clear tape for projects.
***Cellphones and airpods are not needed for my class. Those items will be required to stay in their bookbag to avoid distractions.***
