We have a limited number of teams allowed by Cyber Patriots. At EMS will will have 5 teams of 4 students on each team. If you are interested in "trying out" to be on the team we will meet Sept 5th, 6th, OR 7th until 4pm. You do not have to attend all three but meetings ONLY ONE! I hope to see you there!!!
CyberPatriot is the Air Force Association's National Youth Cyber Education Program, created to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. The CyberPatriot Programs are: THE NATIONAL YOUTH CYBER DEFENSE COMPETITION

At the center of CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, which puts teams of high school and middle school students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. Through a series of online competition rounds, teams are given a set of virtual operating systems and are tasked with finding and fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities while maintaining critical services. The top teams in the nation earn all-expenses-paid trips to Maryland for the National Finals Competition where they can earn national recognition and scholarship money.

All meetings will be on Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 after school.

What is CyberPatriot?
CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program. At the center of CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. The competition places teams of high school and middle school students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. In the rounds of competition, teams are given a set of virtual images that represent operating systems and are tasked with finding cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the images and hardening the system while maintaining critical services. Teams compete for the top placement within their state and region, and the top teams in the nation earn all-expenses-paid trips to Baltimore, MD for the National Final Competition where they can earn national recognition and scholarship money. https://www.uscyberpatriot.org
