Private Lessons

Why?

Private lessons provide your child the opportunity to work with a professional on their instrument in a one-on-one setting, allowing them to receive specific feedback to improve that they otherwise would not receive in a band class. Students will often be able to work on extra material specific for their instrument, which will help them to become a better musician, leading to improvement in the band. Private lessons are strongly recommended for students seeking to make District Honor Band and the Georgia All State Band.

Over 90% of students in the Georgia All-State Band take private lessons.
