Cross Country:

Purpose: Students will participate in local cross country races; running a 5k (3..1 miles) each race. Students will build endurance and strength during weekly practices.
Membership Information: Interest Meeting-Thursday, 8/6, Pick up at 3pm (parents are welcomed to attend but not necessary) all information will go home with athletes. We never want to turn away anyone but in an effort to keep numbers under control, we’d like to require that the they make 2 of the 3 practices each week.

Parents: Make plans to be at the parent meeting on 8/6. Athletes: Bring running shoes and a water bottle and meet in the gym after school for the first practice on 8/10.
Meeting Schedule: Practices will be Monday, Wednesday pick up at 330pm and Thursday trail run at 7pm. First practice will be Monday 8/10.

8/29 Healthwood Hall (in Columbia)
9/22 Battle of Blanchard at Blanchard Woods
10/3 Lakeside (last meet of the season)
Cheer/Sport:
Try-out dates for the 2027-2028 season will be March 29-April 2nd 2027! It is a good idea to go ahead and have paperwork completed (physical, GHSA documents, etc). These forms are located through this link.
Yearbook:
Purpose: Yearbook will teach you skills in business, graphic design, visual communication, writing, photography, and collaborative relationships. Students may have to work remotely while working towards specific deadlines.
Membership Information: An informational meeting will be held in October before school.
Meeting Times: First Thursday of every month beginning in November.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)/Club:
Purpose: FCA is a student-led club organized by a Student Leadership Team. All students are welcome to join FCA, regardless of athletic affiliation. Students desiring to become leaders of this club must apply to be considered for the Student Leadership Team. Applications can be found here. All applications and teacher recommendations are due Friday, August 14th to Brittany Wilkerson.
FCA is a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. We desire to see every coach and athlete enter into a growing relationship with Christ and His Church. We seek to make disciples through our strategy of engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. Involvement in athletics is not required to join FCA.
Membership Information: Join the Eagles FCA Parent Square group using this link. Club dues of $20 payable on RevTrak go towards club activities, prizes, and includes a club t-shirt. Club dues can be paid using this link.
Meeting Times: Twice monthly in Learning Commons: 1st & 3rd Friday mornings 7:00-7:25 AM. The Student Leadership Team's meeting calendar differs from general club members and will be shared with them. Any questions about this may be directed to the faculty sponsors.
