Pathway Completion | College Credit
The University System of Georgia approved a policy to award high school students who successfully completed the Teaching as a Profession Pathway 3 college credit hours in lieu of EDU2110. Successful completion is defined as:
Passing the 3 Teaching as a Profession Pathway courses with a C or better; Examining the Teaching Profession, Contemporary Issues in Education, Teaching as a Profession Practicum
Completion of a portfolio as part of the pathway course requirements.
Passing of approved statewide End of Pathway assessment.

To sign up for Chemistry Google Classroom, complete the following:
Open Google.
Log in to Google using your ccboe student google login information. You cannot use your personal email to login and gain access. If you try to use your personal email it will tell you that the code isn’t valid and you will not be able to join.
Click on the tile set and choose Google Classroom.
Click the “+” on the top bar and “join class.”
Enter the class code.

Assessments: 60% (Tests + Projects)
Assignments: 40% (Lab + Daily + Quiz)
Final semester average is calculated:
Semester grade (80%)

Class Policies:
Be Responsible: Be on time and prepare your area for learning.
Be Respectful: Listen to others, engage in the activity, use professional language.
Be Resilient: Learn from your mistakes, challenge yourself, and be a leader.
Be Safe. Wear your I.D. badge and/or keep a photo copy saved in your phone (favorite the picture), follow safety guidelines, see something say something.
Be Honest: Be responsible for your own learning. Communicate with your teacher.
Cell phones/Earbuds: only used with teacher permission. No texting, gaming, YouTubing, etc. allowed.
Dress code: Enforced via the Columbia County policy (click here for policy).
