About the Coaches

Coach Maish

Coach Maish is in his 9th year of teaching PE and his 4th at Blue Ridge. He also has experience as an associate pastor, Bible teacher, and coaching golf and soccer. When he is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, reading, and watching college football…Go Noles!

Coach Maish is looking forward to encouraging students to lead healthy and active lifestyles this year at Blue Ridge!

Coach Johns

Coach Johns is beginning her 26th year of teaching and her 1st at BRE. She has taught at elementary, middle and high school levels! She enjoys road trips and adventures with her family, hiking, cooking and being at the lake. She is also a Georgia Southern Eagle! Coach Johns is so excited to encourage and coach a new group of Bobcats!

Here is to another year of learning new and fun ways to be physically active!
