Grading Policy
3rd Graders will be receiving numerical grades, 0-100, for assessments and graded assignments. These grades will be reflected on Progress Reports and Report Cards, which can be viewed through Parent Portal. Assessments makeup 60% of the grade while Assignments make up 40% of the grade.

Report Cards & Progress Reports: Both report cards and progress reports will be issued every 9 weeks. Please see the CCBOE calendar for the dates that these will be sent home. The grading scale for these documents is as seen in the image on the left. In order for students to show mastery, students will be given at least 3 opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge. For example: Formative/summative assessments, high-frequency checklists, anecdotal notes, growth per standard, etc.
Daily Work: Daily work assignments will count as 40% of the overall grade.
Assessments: Assessments will count as 6-% of the overall grade.
