Coach Rohn Beard is a proud Augusta native, devoted husband to Cynthia Beard, and father to three wonderful children. A graduate of Westside High School’s Class of 2007, Rohn made his mark on the local basketball scene before transitioning into a successful career as a corporate inside business sales professional in the tech industry. Beyond the office, his true passion lies in basketball training and mentoring, where he dedicates his time to helping young athletes grow both on and off the court. With deep family roots in education—coming from a lineage of teachers and administrators who’ve served the community for decades—Rohn is driven by a strong sense of purpose, leadership, and community service. Above all, he values time with family and loved ones, grounding his life in faith, connection, and legacy.
Coach Mike Carter
Assistant Coach
Coach Carter is a native of Augusta,GA and graduate of Glenn Hills High School. Following high school he played basketball at Thomas Nelson CC then joined the military. During his time in the military he worked in the aviation and communications fields. His background is diverse as he has coached youth recreation multiple sports, aau boys basketball , middle & high school boys basketball, men’s semi-pro & pro basketball, women’s recreation and semi-pro basketball. In addition to this he has officiated basketball for GHSA. Coach Carter has over 10yrs of coaching experience and held the roles of Scout, Director of Scouting, General Manager, and Team Owner of two organizations. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Sports Management and Associates in Business Administration. Coach has a wife , two sons, and one daughter.

“Dukes coached with the Georgia Sting Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball organization for 10 years, during which he and his staff earned over 300 wins. He ran the Episcopal Day School boys and girls basketball programs from 2012-2015, winning one title and appearing in three other finals. Following his time at EDS, Dukes was an assistant girls varsity coach at Augusta Preparatory Day School for two seasons, before becoming the head varsity boys coach the following season. Dukes then took over the Grovetown girls program in 2019, where he won (2) AAAAAA region titles, Elite 8 (First in school history) and 2 Sweet 16 appearances. Dukes was named Coach of the Year 2 of his 3 years at Grovetown. This led him to being offered a college position taking over the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie women's basketball program.
Coach Dukes is from Augusta, Georgia a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County.
Dukes is married to Yessenia Dukes. They are proud parents of five children.
