Hello Eagles!!
I am so excited to join Baker Place this year as your new Media Specialist. I have been teaching in Columbia County for the past 25 years in 2nd - 5th grades and EIP. I am now looking forward to sharing my love of reading with every child here at BPE.
I am originally from right here in Augusta but grew up traveling in a military family across the U.S. and Germany.
I have earned a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Library and Information Science and a Specialist in Learning and Education.
While away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading a good book!

Hello Baker Place!!
I love working in the Learning Commons! This will be my fourth year at BPE and I look forward to all the things that Mrs. Thomas and I will do together in the library!
I grew up in Southern California and that is where my son was born, although I am originally from Augusta. My son and I decided to make Georgia our home many years ago though, and we are so glad we did!
I love to travel! And on my breaks from school you can find me on a plane or a ship! I love New York City, but my favorite places are the mountains and the country of Ireland.
My husband and I have three pugs that are our babies! I love animals, singing, and I'm a big Star Wars fan. I also love maps and collect them and I also collect postcards.
I am super excited for this year at BPE!
