Hello Eagles!!

I am so excited to join Baker Place this year as your new Media Specialist.  I have been teaching  in Columbia County for the past  25 years in 2nd - 5th grades and EIP.  I am now looking forward to sharing my love of reading with every child here at BPE.   

I am originally from right here in Augusta but grew up traveling in a military family across the U.S. and Germany.

I have earned a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Library and Information Science and a Specialist in Learning  and Education.  

While away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading a good book!
