Welcome to First Grade!

I am so excited to welcome you and your child to a brand-new school year! First grade is a milestone year full of tremendous growth, new friendships, and exciting discoveries. Together, we will build a strong foundation in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving—all while having a lot of fun along the way.

My promise to you and your child is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom community where every student feels valued, confident, and eager to learn.

Quick Tips for a Great Start:

1. Check Backpacks Daily: Please review and return your child's take-home folder each day for important notes.

2. Pack a Healthy Snack & Water Bottle: We will have a short snack break daily to keep our energy up.

3. Label Personal Belongings: Please label jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles with your child's first and last name.

Communication between home and school is key to a successful year. The best way to reach me is through the ParentSquare app. I use ParentSquare for all main classroom updates, direct messaging, and quick check-ins.
