Welcome to Mrs. Reeves's math website! I am excited to spend this year learning math together! I was a member of the inaugural faculty at River Ridge when it opened in 2005 and retired in 2022 after teaching fourth grade in Columbia and Richmond counties for thirty years. Last February, I rejoined the RRE faculty as a fifth-grade science and social studies teacher, and this year I am looking forward to teaching math to both 4th and 5th graders. I hold a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science and an Educational Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a T6 certificate in Elementary Education valid through 2028.

My husband, Bill, and I are empty nesters with two grown children. Our son, Will, currently works in Brunswick, Georgia as a building project manager for McKnight Construction, and our daughter, Emmie, just graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Multimedia Journalism. Bill and I have both chosen to rejoin the workforce after retiring. In our free time we enjoy traveling, visiting our children, and supporting the Georgia Southern Eagles. I also love to read, complete crossword puzzles, and watch game shows! This year I am also busy helping my son plan his wedding.
