As I am in Colombo Britanico, approaching the next years of the IB diploma, I am confident the personal project its the perfect opportunity to prepare several skills and IB attributes; all, of which are fundamental for and IB international student. Throughout the entire process, I strengthen attributes such as Inquirer, for the research stage where the three inquiry questions were resolved; asking me each time what else should I investigate. Moreover, communicators, when meeting new people, demanded me to handle a clear message or retrieve and important piece of information/contribution; for example the interviews, donators, rural school managers, between others. Furthermore, principled, when acting with integrity and honesty, with a strong sense of fairness, justice after recollecting all of the donors’ contributions. At last, reflective, as every action, investigation, or idea requested it, leading me to improve to write a reflection of my learning process each time. On the whole, the personal project was the vehicle that paved the way for me to developed fundamental skills of every area of knowledge, IB attributes, and making me grow as a learner. Ultimately, the personal project inaugurated the project Pages of Hope.
