Bears, dogs, cats, tigers, fish, flowers, trees, rocks, leaves, and invented creatures live in the CE studio, just in the form of artwork. Nature lends itself to be an open source of inspiration and imagination. Artists formulate their own spin on what nature, animals and landscapes means to them. New environments are created.

This series of rocks and mythical-looking forms is an ongoing project in Allura Fong's studio. Inspired by nature, Fong rolls the clay first, adds layers of paint, lets it dry and then embellishes with glitter and sequins. Allura's rocks are organic and free-flowing with bold colors.

Rat Hat, Makeya Kaiser, 2016, Mixed Media with knitted rope, 12" x 18"
Many artists at Creativity Explored, like Makeya Kaiser, think about how their art can become wearable. This piece is inspired by her love of animals and the very fact that Rat rhymes with Hat. Makeya's expressions on paper often come out in the form of circles and dots. As you can see this hat is covered in a variety of dots and circle-like shapes.
